Impressive! I'm very glad to see thoughtful (rather than random) romantic quotes from Shakespeare. Most places (e-cards, top fifty lists, et cetera) just grab quotes because they have the word "love" in them.
Can you imagine getting this on a Valentine's Day e-card?
"Love? His affections do not that way tend."
Ridiculous.
But you left out a great one from The Winter's Tale:
". . . when you do dance, I wish you
A wave o' the sea, that you might ever do
Nothing but that."
Thanks for the great list!

Thanks KJ. I do like that one, but it didn't quite fit the "Write it on the card" motif I was going for. That's more the sort of thing I think of as a third party toasting a couple, perhaps at a wedding. At least, that's section I put it in my wedding book, http://www.hearmysoulspeak.com :).
Oh, yeah! The Wedding Book! Available at http://www.hearmysoulspeak.com. Wow, is it ever good!
Yes, that quote works very well for a third party. Watching the couple dance, he or she says to him- or herself (or out loud for everyone to hear), "I wish you a wave of the sea."
But it also works from one love to another. You look so good to me that I wish you were as constant as a wave of the sea, with the same sort of magnificent beauty—a beauty that is so wondrous that it needs no other purpose but being aesthetically pleasing.
Of course, Shakespeare put it a bit more succinctly than that.
I must remember to go to http://www.hearmysoulspeak.com right away and buy a copy of the best Shakespeare-related wedding book out there!
