Double Falshood : The Text, Online!
Look look look what I found! The text of "Double Falshood; or, The Distrest Lovers". The Theobald play in question, which could indeed be the lost Cardenio (or at least a revised and adapted version). Whether it is or isn't, I certainly wasn't going to pass up the chance to read it!
I don't know who this "jwkennedy" person is who did the transcribing work, but he's my new BFF :). Thanks!

Hi Duane,
Did you know that Double Falsehood is being edited for Arden by Brean Hammond? And I am going to teach it next term. Do you have an addy where I could email you to tell you more?
Hi Fiona!
Sounds neat, tell me everything!

I'm particularly interested in hearing the backstory about whether this play is considered "authentic" or if it's still under debate. Are you teaching it as if it were Shakespeare, or as Theobald's "adaptation"?
