Getting Married On Juliet’s Balcony

http://www.casasugar.com/3228410

As noted in the link, this story itself isn’t new – it was publicized a few months ago that for the right price you could have at least part of your wedding on Juliet’s balcony in Verona, Italy.

Today we can see pictures from the first couple to officially do it.

Lucky ducks.

Juliet's balcony...yeah...cause that worked out so well.

People are a mystery to me. I remember hearing about a wedding at which "I Don't Know How to Love Him" from Jesus Christ Superstar was featured.

"And I've had so many men before,
In very many ways, he's just one more."

I never could figure out how to punctuate that sentence. It's downright kinky if you move the period:

"I've had so many men before, in very many ways. He's just one more."

:)

WHOSE idea could that possibly have been to start out a wedding with the "she's a prostitute and he's the Messiah" analogy?

In fairness, I am told it was just the music...but how could you not hear the words in your head?

Go ahead and move that period! JCS is a very funny book, isn't it? The number of times "Jesus" or "Christ" are used simultaneously as an address and an oath, for instance: "Christ! You want me to do it!"

...And people wonder why I'm such a niggler about punctuation.

Who's old joke was it that goes, "Jesus was a carpenter, right? So when he whacks his thumb with a hammer, what does he shout?"
