Moons of Uranus

My friend over at the Hubble Telescope sent me an email this morning about the moons of Uranus. Apparently such things are named by theme. No big surprise that Shakespeare Characters is a typical theme (I tend to name my computers that way). What's interesting is the actual choice of characters:

ARIEL UMBRIEL TITANIA OBERON MIRANDA CORDELIA OPHELIA BIANCA
CRESSIDA DESDEMONA JULIET PORTIA ROSALIND BELINDA PUCK CALIBAN SYCORAX
PROSPERO SETEBOS STEPHANO TRINCULO FRANCISCO MARGARET

New: FERDINAND PERDITA MAB CUPID

I struggled to find a pattern and could not - for instance, when and why did Cressida get split from Troilus? My friend tells me that it's done by vote, so perhaps they just randomly select and approve them. I love that they got Setebos in there, that's certainly not a name you see on most Shakespearean character lists.

That would make Shakespeare the most drawn from author in the heavens.
