Hark, A Vagrant!
Thanks to Katie for pointing out this mini-series of Macbeth comics from Hark, A Vagrant. Cute ideas, not really fall-down hysterical. Adult language, be warned. The "our kids" strip seems to demonstrate a pretty key misunderstanding of the play, but maybe I'm being picky. I like the King James joke best and totally don't understand the "clothes too big for him" joke. Have fun.

Er - how exactly does the "kids" strip show misunderstanding?
Well, the fact that the Macbeths are childless is a pretty big piece of character development, no? Maybe I'm nitpicking but while the others are silly, that one was more like "never thought of that" and I was just pointing out that there's a reason why.
Isn't there some debate about that? Lady M does say:
"I have given suck, and know
How tender 'tis to love the babe that milks me"
...which seems to imply that she's had a child, even if it's never stated explicitly.
Sure, but past tense. They've got no kids now. If Lady M does have children when she delivers the "bash its head in" speech, she's an awfully different character.
Either way, Banquo surely knows that they have no children, possibly because their only child died, when the witches offer up their prophesy.
