I'm intimidated by your knowledge of our shared subject compared to mine. I'd like to crawl before I run.

This blog is a constant learning experience for me, and i am surrounded by people that know more than I do. It's incredibly dated, for one, and it borders on novelization of the (highly truncated) plays. That's not what I'm going for. My window is "Before you see the play", and the goal is to tear down the "it's too hard I won't understand it" barrier Duane Morinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16569611828708601563noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13529575.post-27143114949332326952013-11-14T17:35:12.142-05:002013-11-14T17:35:12.142-05:00If she does a *significant* amount of time on Shak...If she does a *significant* amount of time on Shakespeare, the sixth grade teacher must have heard of Charles and Mary Lamb and Marchette Chute, among others, who have written famous story lines from Shakespeare for students. I take them as reasonably experienced in *how* to teach material to their respective age audiences (fourth grade and sixth grade). So I'm less interested in their opinion of my Shakespeare skills and more in whether I am writing something that a 9 yr old should be able to understand.

Plus, they can actually put the material Duane Morinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16569611828708601563noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13529575.post-27028926419176290882013-11-14T12:36:51.515-05:002013-11-14T12:36:51.515-05:00"How will two actual teachers of this stuff t..."How will two actual teachers of this stuff take it?"

--They 'actually' teach Shakespeare to these students?JMhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08099932219392937069noreply@blogger.com
